Safe ‘n’ Sound Nurseries take children from six weeks to five years and offer out of school/school holiday care for children from four to 14 in Beverley. All nurseries are open Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

History

The company was founded in 1991 by Sally and Stuart Campbell with the first nursery on Grovehill Road in Beverley followed by Shepherd Lane in 2000 and Withernsea in May 2005. The ever changing demands from Ofsted have led to streamlining and development along the way to give the company two nurseries, one in Beverley and one in Withernsea capable of delivering to the highest possible level the quality standards that Ofsted require now and in the forseeable future. The days of delivering Ofsted requirements in converted houses on several floors are becoming numbered and the recent streamlining of the company premises reflects this. All four of their children have attended or still attend Safe ‘n’ Sound Nurseries and Pre-Schools and their eldest daughter Rebecca is now the co-ordinator for the nursery group. The Nursery was awarded the Investors in People (IIP) standard in 2002 and 2005 for its effective management and development of staff.
